Workshop in Bushbuckridge 25.11.2024

Several stakeholders that included extension officers, representatives of the ministry of agriculture, farmers, and researchers from local institutions participated in this program that had 28 participants in total.

In this dialogue, we discussed challenges, opportunities, and aimed to describe the current set-up of agricultural activities in this region. Also, we spoke about indigenous and neglected crops including topics related to their nutritional benefits and challenges in production.

The producers showed interest in participating in research activities of the INCrease project.
